Each sculpture incorporates found objects of varying rarity, making the odds of finding exact duplicates extremely low. This means that every artwork is unique.

Despite the seeming simplicity of their design, the technical challenges presented by combining a variety of objects and materials seamlessly and securely, means that creating each of these works takes time. Where materials are painted, existing paint, rust, dirt, and other surface debris are carefully removed, to ensure long-term paint adhesion. I also use enamel (oil-based) paints designed for model-making to ensure long-term colour durability.

The research portion of each series can take years, and will generally result in a series of works that rarely exceeds a dozen pieces.
